Christopher d’Amboise

— Former principal dancer with New York City Ballet and TONY nominated Broadway performer has choreographed over 400 works for ballet companies, musical theater, and contemporary dance. His work has been performed worldwide: Royal Ballet of Flanders, London Contemporary, San Francisco Ballet, State Theater of Istanbul, New York City Ballet. He has choreographed numerous musical theater productions such as, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, Newsies, Evita, and new musicals: Colossus (award winning) Terrence Mann’s Romeo and Juliet, and most recently, the Kennedy Center’s production of Me… Jane. As Heritage Professor at George Mason University he has developed unique teaching methods for advanced dance artistry, modern audition techniques, and choreography for both contemporary dance and musical theater. When the Covid-19 pandemic began, Christopher was eager to find a way to make dance classes accessible and safe for dancers. He created Window Wall™ in 2020 with George Mason University’s LIVE Center.
